FEATURES
Welcome to EEBOND Series EE Savings Bond Valuation!
You have just obtained a copy of the highest performance Series EE Savings
Bond valuation program on the SHAREWARE market today. Both professional and
novice investors can utilize the database and valuation capabilities for their
savings bond financial applications.
Here are some of the features you will discover:
- Quantity of savings bonds in database limited only by size of your hard
disk
- Program written in lightning fast 'C'
- Generous use of windows and graphics
- Prints out savings bond report sorted on date of bond
- Reports printed on screen and most printers
- Efficient and easy data entry
- Compatible with (almost) all Video Graphics Array (VGA), Enhanced
Graphic Adapters(EGA) or Color Graphic Adapters(CGA) (All IBM
Compatibles), including PS/2 and 3270 PC.
IMPROVEMENTS ( since version 2)
- Contains latest tables from the Bur. of the Public Debt.
- Use of ESCAPE instead of more awkward 'Q' key.
- Version 3 compatible with all other versions. No need to reenter data.

1. This license applies to EEBOND.
2. You must treat this software just like a book - ONLY ONE CPU PER LICENSE
can use the software at any time in the original or modified forms.
However, you are authorized to make archive copies for safekeeping.
3. The license applies to the original copy of the program as well as
updated versions which are available on CompuServe's IBM Application
Forum (IBMAPP) or The Investors Forum (INVFORUM). The author is neither
obligated to provide updated versions nor notices of error corrections.
4. Customer support will be provided as outlined in the next section.
5. The user agrees to conscientiously respect the copyright to the author
of the program and not to illegally, unethically, or neglectfully
exploit the services provided by the author.

This section will acquaint you with the files on the distribution disk and
illustrate what EEBOND can accomplish.
DISTRIBUTION FILES
In this version, EEBOND contains:
READ .ME: Note on printing these instructions.
EEBOND .DOC: This document - a user guide to EEBOND.
EEBOND .EXE: EEBOND program.
Bonds .dat: Bond data base. PROGRAM GENERATED.
Bonds .idx: Bond index. PROGRAM GENERATED.
Sort .dat: Bond data base in sorted order. PROGRAM GENERATED.
Sort .idx: Sorted index. PROGRAM GENERATED.
DEMONSTRATION
To get a feeling for the speed and features of EEBOND, try the following
demonstration:
1. Start EEBOND by typing EEBOND and hit return key.
2. Hit space bar to pass initial screen.
3. Select 'I' to read Introduction.
4. Select 'S' for Savings Bond Entry.
5. Select 'B' for Enter Bond Information.
6. Enter any serial number and hit return.
7. Select 1 for $50.00.
8. Select 2 for 1981.
9. Select 3 for March.
10. Select 'Y' for confirmation, and you should receive the message:
Your savings bond is now in the database!!!
Now let's see what it's worth:
1. From main screen select 'R' for reports.
2. From reports screen select 'B' for calculate interest on all bonds.
3. From next screen select month you would like to cash in.
4. Select screen or printer ('S' or 'P').
